To collect information about twin pairs for which zygosity in order to do studies that could cover a variety of topics on public health issues such as allergies, cancer, dementia and cardiovascular disease.

- In 2001 all twins in the age groups 55–65 and 65 years or older were contacted and data was collecter with the same screening instrument as in the pilot, without blood samples collection.
