The main objective of the Early Pregnancy Markers for Pre-Eclampsia study (PreMark) was to examine the relationship between homocysteine (tHcy) concentrations in early pregnancy and the subsequent development of gestational hypertension (GH) or preeclampsia, as well as the relationship between tHcy concentrations and pregnancy loss and small for gestational age (SGA) infants.
