The aim of the study was to determine whether very low birth weight (VLBW) is associated with changes in glucose and insulin metabolism, serum lipid levels, or blood pressure in young adults and whether these changes might be explained by differences in body size and composition in persons in this age group. *Note: All published information has been collected from the article referenced in the Marker Paper box below.
