Initiatives -
ENRICA is a multipurpose cohort aiming to examine the associations between lifestyle and healthy aging in older adults. Among lifestyle risk factors, the focus is on diet, physical activity, sedentary behavior, and alcohol drinking patterns. As regards to the outcome variables, the main focus is health-related quality of life, the frailty syndrome and physical functioning.

This cohort was established in 2008-2010 with 2614 non-institutionalized individuals aged 60 years and older. Participants were then followed-up in 2012 and 2015.
