Patients' cohort
Follow Up
Participants with mild symptoms visited the research centre at years 0, 2, 5, 8 and 10 (variable visiting group) and participants with more serious symptoms visited the research centre each year (annual visiting group). For 10 years after baseline examinations every year, that included a questionnaire and clinical data; once every 2-3 years the examinations also included X ray, blood and urine collection.
